Three soulful sisters from Motown form the gospel trio Jewelstone. Now Pensacola based these singer-songwriters have the remarkable ability to evoke the unspoken sentiment from a single line of melody. From early ages these sisters developed a love for gospel music. Growing up in the tradition of the church under the guidance of their father and Pastor. They were then known as “The Cunningham Singers”. During the spring of 1998 these sisters were met with tragedy, at the loss of their loving mother who had first started the siblings singing as a group. The group honored their late mother and changed the name of their group to Jewelstone. Jewel being their mother’s nickname given to her by their father. Their love for music is a testament to the presence of God in their lives and it continues to be a reminder of the teaching of holiness and the love of family. For anyone who loves Virtue, Mary Mary, and The Clark Sisters this is just the trio for you. Jewelstone has riveted audiences all across the country and have performed on Bobby Jones Gospel Presents, at the Atlanta Gospel Music Festival and were finalist on the Stellar Awards Independent Artist showcase in Las Vegas. The group debuted their first album "How Awesome" in 2012 and had success with their follow up single "Many Waters". This group is poised for greatness releasing their first Christmas single "The Watcher" in November 2020.
